Abstract

* My intentions are not to make copies of nature but to deepen my understanding of it and create pieces which embody an essence of its principles.

* Often the act of carving becomes quite a rhythmic process enabling a direct flowing dialogue with the material, never hurried, but demanding its own time, this fluent sensitive discourse helping to open and inspire my imagination.
